Applying to Mid-Rivers for Grant Writing Help

Mid-Rivers' Rural Development services are available to assist any community within the Mid-Rivers Service Area (including competitive exchanges and cellular, cable TV and Internet service areas) with grant and loan seeking and writing for rural community and economic development projects.

We can help you search for grant sources, help you apply to those sources, edit/proofread applications you have prepared, or simply provide guidance on where to look for grants or offer tips on writing successful proposals. This service is provided completely free of charge. Organizations successful in receiving grant funds through this assistance will simply be required to recognize Mid-Rivers as a contributor to the project in any regional press.

As these services are free of charge, our current project list is quite extensive, but you can apply for your project to be added to that list by submitting the following information:

  • project purpose/problems to be addressed
  • project goals
  • project beneficiaries
  • detailed project budget, including matching funds available and sources of those funds
  • description of applicant organization and that organization's non-profit status

You can also download a brochure containing more detailed information on these services that includes a list of Basic Grant Information Needed.

Requests for grant and loan assistance should be submitted to:
